The Flooring House showroom is at 1002 Sydney Road, Coburg North, a short drive up Sydney Road from central Coburg, and the hybrid and vinyl range is laid out there to see and stand on. We supply and install hybrid flooring and vinyl planks across Coburg and Coburg North, and because we do both, the floor you pick in the showroom is the floor our own installers put down.

Both look like timber and both handle water well, but they are built differently. Our hybrid flooring has a UV-resistant top layer, a decorative layer with a timber-like appearance, a rigid limestone composite core board and a pre-adhered underlay. Vinyl planks are a multi-layer plank with an outer layer of PVC over a softer core. Hybrid is the more rigid of the two; vinyl planks are generally the lower-cost option. The easiest way to decide is to stand on both in the showroom.
